The creature actually looks pretty awesome, renewing hope that Alien vs. Predator: AVP2 will be a great improvement over the first.

AVP2 Art Director In-Depth Interview

Sounds like the lighting of the film will be a high point. Li claims the atmospheric lighting is one of his favorite parts, enhancing the horror aspects of the film.
